Pousada Luar do Sertão is located at the entrance to the trail of one of the main attractions in Lençóis — Ribeirão do Meio — which is also the main access point to Chapada Diamantina National Park. The distance to the historic centre is 900 meters, and the access road, which used to be rough, is now paved almostthe way to the inn, with only about 200 meters of dirt road remaining.

We consider our location a privilege, as our preserved native forest area is directly connected to the national park, home to birds and other wild animals that visit us daily during breakfast time.

Our location is also essential to provide peace and tranquillity to our guests, since even during the lively and noisy festivities in Lençóis, silence for a good night’s sleep is guaranteed.

We also offer free parking included in the daily rate.

The charming chalets include a delightful balcony overlooking the garden, air conditioning, minibar, private bathroom and fibre optic internet. Breakfast is included in the rate, in a living space specially designed for our guest to have close contact with the nature of our environment. Our chalets are not equipped with a television, as we consider it important for our guests to “disconnect” from their routine and have as much interaction with nature as possible. But to serve those who want to watch television, our living space also has a television and reading room. We are also specialists in suggesting tours according to the guests profile, preparing itineraries and recommending reliable tour guides. We invest in: generation of solar energy, reuse of rainwater, use of LED lamps, reflectors with motion sensors in the external area, recycling of solid waste, composting of organic waste, ecological pits, preservation of native forest, incentives for guests to save water and energy and the use of low-consumption electro-electronic equipment.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 12:00.

Please note that the access to the property is through an unpaved road.

Due to the pandemic, the daily cleaning of the cottages is suspended. The guest enters the chalet extremely clean, and we will only do housekeeping and cleaning if requested, as the ideal is that our team does not enter the chalets during the guests stay, reducing the risks of contamination of guests and employees.Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required.
